A meeting to debate the challenges of virtuality in Higher Education

The city of Florianópolis, located on Santa Catarina Island, Brazil, will bring together some of the world’s most distinguished Distance Education scholars on 14 and 15 October, 2010 for the GUIDE International Seminar on Virtual Higher Education. GUIDE Association (Global Universities in Distance Education) is one of the most important international organizations for cooperation in and research on Distance Education. The seminar will be promoted by GUIDE itself in collaboration with UnisulVirtual, from Brazil,  CEDIPROE (Centro de Diseño, Producciión y Evaluación de Recursos Multimediales para el Aprendizaje), from Argentina and USGM (Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi) from Italy. It will convene keynote speakers of world renown from Argentina, Brazil, England, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Uruguay and the USA.

 

What will be discussed


Widely experienced scholars and researchers from institutes and universities will discuss the challenges of virtuality in Higher Education. Topics such as didactical resources, technology-based communication tools for digital education and network society will be in evidence.
